
Antlers take J-League top spot
Kashima Antlers went top of the J.League after a 2-1 win over Kawasaki Frontale saw them overhaul Shimizu S-Pulse.
Fellype Gabriel gave the home side the lead with 21 minutes gone at Kashima Soccer Stadium but Masaru Kurotsu levelled six minutes before the break.
Lee Jung-soo then netted the winner in the 78th minute that meant they overtook Shimizu, who could only manage a goalless draw at home to Jubilo Iwata.
Nagoya Grampus remain third, two points behind Kashima after Australia international Josh Kennedy's 76th-minute goal sealed a 1-0 win at Omiya Ardija.
Elsewhere, two goals in the last six minutes from Raphael Botti and Yoshito Okubo helped Vissel Kobe snatch a 2-2 draw at FC Tokyo, Albirex Niigata drew 1-1 with Cerezo Osaka and a double from Yuzo Tashiro helped Montedio Yamagata down Vegalta Sendai 3-1.
