European Football Friday Round-up
A round-up of all the action from football leagues across Europe
Turkish Super Lig
Trabzonspor thrashed Gaziantepspor 4-1 to move up to fourth place in the Super Lig.
The hosts were gifted an early lead through Ivelin Popov's sixth-minute own goal, and strengthened their hand after half-time with a Burak Yilmaz penalty in the 56th minute and a Mustafa Yumlu strike soon after.
Marek Sapara gave the relegation-battling visitors faint hope in the 70th minute, but goalkeeper Zydrunas Karcemarskas was sent off 12 minutes from time and Yilmaz sealed the win with his second penalty of the night.
Greek Superleague
Olympiacos snatched top spot in the Superleague with a 2-0 win over AEK Athens.
Veteran defender Olof Mellberg gave Olympiacos the lead in just the fifth minute, and Kevin Mirallas added a second midway through the second half.
The win sends Olympiacos top by a single point from fierce rivals Panathinaikos, who can reclaim first place on Sunday when they host Xanthi.
Portuguese Liga
Rodrigo Lima's brace helped Braga to a comfortable 3-0 victory over rock-bottom Vitoria Setubal.
Lima scored on the stroke of half-time and added a second six minutes from full-time, scoring either side of a 62nd minute goal from Osorio Alan.
The win moves Braga third, level on points with second-placed FC Porto, who play their game in hand against Uniao de Leiria on Sunday.
