Eidur feeling Gud at Spurs
Eidur Gudjohnsen claims Tottenham's fight for a top-four finish has reinvigorated him after an unhappy spell at Monaco.
The Iceland international joined Spurs on loan during the January transfer window after failing to settle at the Ligue 1 side.
Gudjohnsen scored his first goal for Spurs in the weekend win at Stoke and the former Chelsea man is delighted to be back plying his trade in England.
"Football is about being happy what you're doing and I feel alive since I came back to England," said Gudjohnsen.
"In France I just didn't enjoy it. I didn't connect to my surroundings. When you do that and you're not happy in your work, it's difficult to get the best out of yourself.
"That's why I decided to move back to England. I've had to be patient and it was really enjoyable to be back on the pitch.
"Of course getting into the Champions League is at the back of our minds. We're in the fourth place and we're going to try and protect that for as long as we can."
