Del Piero: Fatigue key to Juve loss

Juventus striker Alessandro Del Piero insisted that the Bianconceri played well against Sampdoria, until fatigue set in.

Speaking to Juventus Channel the captain said: "We played a good half-hour, playing better than our opposition, but then we felt fatigued, both on a physical and psychological level."

Juventus were defeated 1-0 by the Blucerchiati and the 35-year-old together with the rest of the team, has requested that they go into training a day earlier before their next match against Napoli.

"Over the past week, we have taken a step backwards from where we would like to be.

"Our aim is to get up off the floor very quickly. And to do this, the players have asked the society if they can go into training a day earlier than anticipated," he concluded.
