Raptors maul New Jersey Nets

The New Jersey Nets' dismal season continued as they slumped to a seventh-straight loss at the hands of Toronto Raptors.

Chris Bosh scored 36 points as Toronto posted a 100-90 victory in East Rutherford, where home wins have been thin on the ground this campaign.

The 7-62 Nets need to find at least two wins from somewhere over their final 13 games if they are to avoid the ignominy of setting a new low mark for wins in a single season, which currently stands at nine.

Paul Pierce poured in 29 points and Rajon Rondo hit 20 points and pulled down 10 rebounds as the Boston Celtics triumphed 102-93 over the Dallas Mavericks, for whom Dirk Nowitzki had 28 points.

Derrick Rose scored 23 points as the Chicago Bulls enjoyed a 98-84 victory over the Philadelphia 76ers, while the Golden State Warriors lost on their travels for the 13th game in a row with a 123-107 reverse at the Memphis Grizzlies.

Carlos Delfino had 26 points as the Milwaukee Bucks beat the Denver Nuggets 102-97, the Utah Jazz defeated the New Orleans Hornets 106-86 thanks in part to Paul Millsap's 22 points and 15 rebounds, while Quentin Richardson hit 18 points as the Miami Heat downed the Charlotte Bobcats 77-71.
