Usain Bolt to make 2010 debut

Usain Bolt will run his first 100metres of the year at the Colourful Daegu IAAF World Challenge Meeting next month.

The world record holder will compete at the venue for next year's World Championships, where he is expected to defend the 100m and 200m titles he won in Berlin last summer.

The South Korean meeting takes place on May 19, just six days before the Jamaican star makes his Diamond League debut over 200m in Shanghai.

Bolt's programme also includes a 200m race in Kingston on May 1 and 300m in Ostrava on May 27.

These will be followed by the DL meeting in New York on June 12 followed by the Jamaican Championships at the end of the month.

The double Olympic and world champion is also scheduled to compete in his third DL race of the summer in Paris on July 16.
